Bein' retired, I voted at 8am along with my bride.  We both are conservative.  Won't say more, cept I know where to stash some guns when the liberal henchmen look for them.  Should they live, they'll come up empty handed.

I decided to go vote before work.  I was anticipating a tough day and if things got hectic, I didn't want to do a crummy job for my employer, or drive like an idiot to rush to get to the polls.  Wasn't gonna screw up work or let work screw me up on this day.  Was at the middle school at 7:15, walked in, read the how-to on the optical thingy, and I was done.  Good way to start the day.  Came in half hour later than usual, stayed 45 minutes later.  I'm home with wife, daughter is OK at school.  I'm good.

I am glad I've moved past my anger, am even beyond the frustration stage.

One thing I can't reconcile is the convenience that early voting has provided when compared to the hundreds of thousands of lives that were lost providing and protecting the right to vote.  How do these folks measure inconvenience?  Special needs, special circumstances?  No problem.  This has turned into nothing more than a different episode of "Dance with the Stars" or one of those shows.  I heard Dennis Miller last night describe it as the last spit in the face of the Viet Nam vet.  Hey guys, I'm sorry it came to this.  Who do I apologize to?

I'm blasting through the basement wall, dig out under the deck.  Behind schedule; gotta get it done before the swearing in.

Thanks for reachin' out.

I've got my excuses and I'm stickin' to 'em.

I'm here too. Nursing a cold one, and contemplating who I sold my 2 guns to. Hmmm wish I could remember. I think it was a guy from Chicago, he was running for some office...hmmm.

I was lucky, and voted on my rounds about town this morning. Had no wait, and took all of 5 minutes.
We can hope for the best I guess, and prepare for the worst.

Computer literacy comes gradually to me.  But, it does come.  I can run my on line business, www,biglube.com, and make thousands of transactions and be confident of security.  Pards trust me.  They trust my web site.  They trust my security arrangements.  They buy stuff, they get stuff and they don't worry about fraud.

I do on line banking in confidence that my accounts are secure.

In other words, I've put my money where my mouth is.  Now, I'd like to be able to vote on line also.  It's my opinion that voter fraud would be a LOT more difficult on line than it is at the polls.  Of course, I'd miss the bake sales.  They have some good stuff at the polls if you can stomach the politics. . . . .

I voted first thing this morning, thought if I went early it would count more. I've been in the garage all day getting ready for the SC State match. Time to make some noise!!!, BP match on Thursday, main match Fri., Sat. Maybe it will take my mind off things for a few days. I can't decide if I should stock up on more guns, or huge amounts of reloading supplies for what I already have.

Voted this noon.  As a conservative NYer, I'm used to being disenfranchised in a winner take all election (the last GOP candidate to carry NY was Reagan in '84, the year Mondale only got 13 electoral votes), but it is what it is.

I have faith we will endure and this too shall pass.  We survived a bunch of wingdings over the years.........

UKshooter here, and I aint gonna tell you, "I told you so"

No matter what colour the politicion says he is, it all comes down to the almighty dollar!

At least you can hide your valuables away till needed, all ours were registered and they knew exactly what we had.

All I can say is"Good luck, and, keep your powder dry"

Guns, I have no guns - I solely have "cowboy tools":)

Honey remember that fishing trip where two of my rifles went overboard....

I am very pensive this am.

I hope people realize what has been sowed.

My sole hope in the democratic party is the re-emergence of the old school southern democrat that likes to tote guns as much as most of us.  There are plenty of seats in the south and west that if the dems switch back to a "north east" democrat crusade they will lose those gains.

Time will tell...

Hey CC, I think you just found out why it's quiet, everybody is busy, digging a hole!!!
Do you think the gov'mint have 'speshly trained Holy Black sniffer hounds??
Or, whats that stuff you ex-colonials use for cleaning, "moose milk"? Never heard of it over here but I bet it smells real sweet.

Another point that amuses me; where do some of your pards get their alias's from, there ought to be a list with explanations.
I was under the impression that it had to be an actual person from the era, or a Western film character.
A friend gave me my "Angel Eyes" monicker for our British Western Shooting Society, 'cos I tend to squint a bit in bright sunlight.
There are a few other things I've been called, but we won't go into that here!!

Come on guys, where did you get your name?
