Great album! Thank you for sharing.  Here is a terrific book of labels:



The label in my signature is copied from this book. According to the information, it was the first M'73 Winchester cartridge box. Note that the 44/100 designation is a carry over from the Henry era.  The .44 W.C.F. designation appeared on cartridge boxes a few years later.

That is one ugly shotgun. I would never in my life be seen with such an ugly firearm. Send it to me and I will properly dispose of it!!!


Hey Wolfgang...I'd like to pick up 5 brass shotgun shells and reload them with buckshot for my 87'. What ya suggest for a recipe?

Look closer at the very beginning of the photobucket. They're there, they just don't look like modern boxes ;)

Nice job on the labels..........yer factory fodder appears more defense oriented tho :o
