NCOWS members come down to Kentucky and shoot with the oldest CAS shoot in our state. The Bluegrass Rangers of Glasgow, KY is the oldest cowboy action shooting club in KY. It will be holding it's last shoot ever on Saturday Nov. 22. Yes Linerider(Donnie Jones) will be shuting it down. This is the first place I ever shot CAS. It's first President was our very own Rowdy Fulcher. Rowdy said to bring your shotguns as he would have a big surprize for us all. Shooting starts at high noon. Hope to see you there. Don is losing use of the property.  The range is on his Grandfather's farm, as I understand it, and his brother is going to be in charge of the farm.  He (the brother) has other plans for the range area.  So this coming shoot will be the last hurrah.  If at all possible, both Jeff  Farmer and I will try to make it to the shoot, TJ.  Hope to see you there.

Trap it has been a great shoot. It's not NCOWS or SASS just a really good CAS. Know it is way out of your way, but hope some of NCOWS in KY, TN, and IN can make it. French Jack see you and Jeff there. Rowdy has a surprize something about shotgun shells, so bring your shot gun. However the Bluegrass Rangers do have Working Cowboy. TJ

Trap, it is a good group. Can't tell you the fun I've had there. Always after the shoot we would sat around the camp fire. Several talents from Nashville, TN would pick and sang, we would all join in. I first shot their in June of 94, they had already been shooting for some time. It was Rowdy and Linerider that started the club on Linerider's Granddad's place. Several other clubs in the area, doubt that the Bluegrass Rangers will continue any where else. Anyone that can attend please do so. TJ

Rowdy Fulcher

Dear Friends
Hope you can make the shoot .We need to go out in style with a giant crowd to thank this man for what he has done for the last 16 years . He was never in it for the Money ,  in this World we live in that means he is a pretty special person . He has been known to announce Todays shoot is FREE that is the kind of friend he is to the Shooters . And he always feeds everyone .

Talked to Linerider today at the Green River Gunslinger's shoot. He said he would have some special stages for his last shoot. There would even be a carrier pigeon released to bring help. Better practice on your wing shooting. TJ  ;D

Saturday Nov. 22 is coming fast. Do hope that some of you will be able to make this last shoot. We hope to have enough to have an NCOWS posse at the shoot. See you there. TJ  :)

So far it's starting to look like we may have enough at the shoot to make up an NCOWS posse. French Jack, Jeff Farmer, Rowdy Fulcher, Dodge Boy, and myself have commited. There are a few others that may be there too. Guess we will all shoot Working Cowboy. Are there anymore NCOWS members that can make it? Not going to be very hot, so dress warm. See you there. TJ  ;D

The last Bluegrass Rangers shoot was a good one. Was a cold day, but we had 4 posses. Several NCOWS shooters did show up. French Jack and Jeff Farmer came over. Rowdy, Dodge Boy and I made it too. P.I. Parker came over with us. We are working to get him into NCOWS. He just started shooting cowboy and loves it. Want to thank all those that came. Also want to thank Linerider(Donald Jones) for all those good years that he held this shoot. Lot of good memories. TJ  :)

TJ, Jeff and I had a great time at the shoot.  Don really puts on a good one, with a lot of fun stuff.  I'm sorry to see him hang it up.  He did promise to come up and shoot with us, though.

Those fellers were real hospitable, they even let Jeff and myself win-- now that's Real Hospitable! ::) :o
