Waterglass?

The wads I got some years back were called 11ga. I have never loaded all brass shells and that might be the issue. New brass might be why glue doesn't hold. I make up blanks from otherwise rotten plastic shells and I drop BP in there and just the over powder wad, it is not an over shot wad and glue with Elmers and a Q tip. Then I cut the shells down to about a 1/4" above the card, so there is no way to mistake them and there is no crimp or anything to hinder chambering them in a SXS.
We use them to get things rolling after a Pledge to the flag to start a match. I don't have to worry about reusing brass or if the glue leaves a residue.
I'm no help with waterglass, in fact I don't think I have seen it. Hot glue I have though. I hope it all leaves with the shot. :)

Here in Indy, the humid-itity averages over 50%, so the waterglass I use doesn't seem to be affected.  Now, I use the 10ga over-shot wads, which I think is part of the success with the Magtechs.  I shot my very first batch with NO glue and they held, so .. draw your own conclusions.

I have no real "proof," just anecdotal experience of about 6-7 years.

Different places and methods will change the results.

By the way, I put mine on pretty thick.  That may make a difference.
