Dave , Kid Terico went the whole nine yards on this one, and it looks great, I wish I was as thin as you, it sure would save on the leather, Kid that's a dandy pard, and what a generous gift, and one I know Dave will treasure.

BhB ani't nuthin wrong with your carving pal. Django, nice job with that holster.

Dave, that is a nice set up. KT does some mighty fine work, but then so do you!

That is a very nice gift, but then KT is one generous guy

Skeeter Lewis

Nice work, Bob. He'll be more than happy with it.

Django, that's a great rendering of Chuck's holster.

KT, nice job on Dave's rig.

Howdy Boothill,
Wow! That is a beautiful job! Great carving!

Howdy Django,
Excellent work! Isn't that Video a great learning tool!

Howdy Dave,
You are one lucky person to get a rig from a true master.

Many thanks to all of you Gents for sharing this with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

I had to back up a couple pages! I missed Djangos holster and Bobs Knife sheath! WOW guys Those are both awesome!

Django that is a beautiful color on that double loop!

Bob awesome carving pard! Sorry I missed em earlier!

Marshal Will Wingam

Wow, pards! There is some very beautiful work shown.

AC, that rig came out really good. Nice work.

Skeet, your tooling is really good. I like the uncluttered look you get with the slightly less busy full coverage. That's a hard balance to achieve. Top-notch.

Nice work on the wallet, Cowboy. The two-tone lacing is a good look.

BH, your sheath looks very good. The background may not be what you wanted, but it really looks good with the subtle change between the objects. The color is really fine.

Django, that holster is clean and attractive. The spots on the strap work well. Looks good.

Dave, that's a great gift. KT did a bang-up job, as usual.

The talent here is really something to admire. Great work, all.

Thanks for the good comments guys!
Johnny, apart from the tips that the great guys on this forum have passed on to me , Chucks DVD has taught me all i  know about making holsters . It's an invaluable "tool" to have to begin leatherwork.
A big thankyou to Chuck for setting me on the right road!!

I haven"t done any leatherwork for years and I am trying it again.
This is a gunbelt  I did for my son years ago. Not sure that the tooling is deep enough.

craigkennedy

This is another look at it.
Working on a money belt for me, as well as a set of saddle pockets and a rig for my plammer.

craigkennedy

Forgot the other pics.

Boothill Bob

I practise a little on the H.O.G pattern while I´m waiting on my pattern.
Dident have the right tools but I think it´s going to be nice on the holster :)

Craigkennedy, I think you did a fine job on that holster rig. I like the color, and carvin them criters is something I've not tried yet. Keep up the good work, and welcome to this neck of the woods!

BhB, that carving looks real good my friend. Before long every shooter in Sweden will be looking like Russell Crowe!
