QuoteMan, a guy sure has to stay on his toes around here, with all the fine leatherwork coming down the pike or he's likely to miss it.

Wow! You Gents have all posted some great examples of creativity and quality in Leather Working. The Pard's on this forum have said it all. I just want to say thank you for sharing and keep em' coming.

Thanks for the welcome pard. I'm gonna try to get some more stuff lined up to post in the next couple of days.

I just wonder why I didn't get on here sooner. I been on the Wire for 2 or 3 years now.

EE Taft, I'm lookin at that brown holster you posted, trying to figure out how it's attached to the belt! I think it's really great that you are as young as you are and have been doing this as long as you have. I'm gonna turn 61 in a couple of months, and I'm not quite 2 years into this stuff, with a whole lot to learn, so I ask a lot of questions!

That brown and black dye job is really sharp! The stamping is real good looking too.

Thanks a lot, JD

JD Alan

Holy Cow, is that a lot of lacing or what? You did an excellent job on that rig. I've got that pattern but have not felt brave enough to try it yet. Thanks for sharing the pics, JD

MontanaSlick

MHB, Thanks for the comp.
Yup it's a Thunder and a fine shooting one at that, but I keep it super clean. ;D

I make 5 1/2 " holster for my not too 5" irons, keeps the end of the barrels out of harms way

EET, I got in on the tail end of the year end sale on the leather, gone but for 1/2 price I kin wait it out.

I like to hand pick out my leather, like ya say, picky, picky, well I need to chill out too, I'm trying.

I must be in dyer need of some projects, so I cleaned up my last place on the bottom scores boots, all oiled up and ready fer some action here soon.
