KT, I like that distressed leather look sure looks like something a workin cowboy would have been wearin back in the 1870s ridin herd on long horns up from Texas to Kansas. YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA   :) ;) :D ;D

KT, I think you've invented "soft bling".  That's the best way to describe your latest. It's pleasing to the eye and the accents set it off nicely.

Howdy KT,
Another beautiful rig from your creative workshop! Many thanks for sharing this with us.

Kid Terico

Marshall the one thing wrong with the distressed leather is you CAN not burnish the edges and u cant groove it for a sew line but it still looks ok. Everyone thanks for the nice words. KT

GCR they were the old brass door knockers. They were surrunded by large horse shoes and I cut them out and lightly heated them to form them to the holster. KT

Marshal Cy Clone

Heres a pic of my first holster after I made it I took it on a long camping, and hunting trip.  Yes I borrowed the idea from Bob Mernickle, three slots offer strongside and cross draw carry.  I like it, and I feel good about making it myself.  Hopefully Ill just get better.  Also there is a picture of a bowie sheath I made (made the bowie too).......and a shell carrier
