Hey Johnny, great carving. It looks like something from Packing Iron, Will Ghormley or Chuck Burrow's Holster DVD (and I mean that as the highest of compliments)

WC, thanks for the info on your shop. I remember something I heard in Bible school years ago: There are only two truths; #1, there is a God, #2, you're not Him!" I try to keep that in mind. I don't mean to overdo it with my comments on your carving and leatherwork, but Dude! You are an inspiration to lots of people, and it's great that you pass on your skills by teaching. I only wish I was close enough to take advantage of your classes.

Johnny, that is a great looking rig, but, it doesn't look like practice to me. It looks more like you nailed it. ;) :D
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

Howdy Pards,

I greatly appreciate the kind words. I gotta say that without the encouragement and help from everyone on this forum, I doubt if I would be doing any Leather Working at all. Many thanks Pards.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Howdy John,  :)
I don't know what I could ad that JD hasn't allready said!! Yes there is: AWESOME :o :o :o :o
You are cooking now Bud!!!!!

Howdt WC, :)
Hey Bud, Love the sheath :o :o You my friend are the KING of Stamping, if I ever just once stamp something half as perfect as you do, I think I will quit!!! I keep that scrap piece of leather and the spur stramp right by my stamping area, just to remind me that it can be done perfect if a person works hard at it like you do!!!!!! Love that Stamp!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing!

Heres a pict. of a knife sheath I put up a couple days ago. I put a small knife in it . Now it has the right knife in it. It was made by Ned and sheath was made to fit his knife. I also have the belt and holster for it. He has posted a pict. on cutting edge of it but the pict. does not do it justice. I tried to show the brass engraved medallion inlaid in the rosette on the handle but cant get a good pict. I can say beyond any doubt that NED is a OUTSTANDING  ARTIST. KT

Kid Terico

I just got the knife and sheath of Dave and Joshs, another true work of art. These items are looking so good I might buy more. ;D Heres the rig I made for this sheath. Hope u all like.  Also Dave made the concho on the holster to match the sheath.KT

Gun Butcher

Great looking rig Kid. What I want to know is are you going to need suspenders to haul all that iron around ;) ;D
