Well, I think I used about every tool I owned on that set. Seems like I do really well if it's either A) brand new looking or B) 20-year old looking.

Just can't seem to make 10 year old looking stuff. LOL.

The worst part is, though, everyone that sees dove wings loves them, but no one wants to buy them. Can't figure it out? They're very comfortable style straps. Just don't get it. LOL.

Duh, you can't put fancy buckles on dove wing straps! ;D ;D

Very nice RT, I think you have to be our resident spur strap Pard, every one you do is beautiful, and no one is the same, and your blend of colors always looks great, I think your stuck on Spur straps like I am on natural dyes LOL, just let it be known , and I think I speak for all of us here, it's always a pleasure to feast our eyes on your work, you have your own style, and technique, and it shows with everything you do. WELL DONE Pard  ::) :o 8)

Very well done, RT. I like the whole boat treatment. The sepia pics were fun to look at, too. Thanks for sharing.

RT those are very nice. ALMOST as nice as the ones you made me ;D

I think Dr Bob is on to something. I also like the big wide ones, like I've seen Chuck Burrows make, and they look sharp with a big, cool buckle..

Seriously, your work there is off the hook, just like with mine. I appreciate the info on the colors, but I have no idea how it is you do that. You are the Color King in my book! JD

Might be I'll have to do you a video there Parson! :D

I have a good friend that makes nice knives and I get to make sheaths to match. Here is one of the latest.

That's what i want to do on my first try.Can i use a sheath i already have that is blank?I have no problem with unstiching it and tooling then stiching back.Would have to bleach it(?) to get what little shine there is on it off.

If i go from scratch i have no idea of what thickness of leather to use.Is yours lined or just from one piece of leather.

Nice job on that :)
Bunch a ole scudders!

Marshal Will Wingam

Really nice, Ty. Good incising on it. Very suitable for a fine knife.
