 :)howdy Don,
I love that holster, it just strikes me as a holster that a real cowboy went to the general Store and ask the clerk where he kept his better grade of holsters, and of course they allways kept them put up, so someone couldn't walk off with a high quaility holster,Then the cowboy would pick the holster that worked the best for him and his peice!! i see so much AWESOME stamped, carved, ect., that leave you in aw, but as your holster show's it isn't the just get by holster, it is a holster made of great quialty with the great edge work, the perfect stiching and a AWESOME Boarder Design.

Don thanks for sharing, every time someone show there stuff, i get a free education!!

Howdy Boys,

Many thanks for the kind words.

The webbing I used is very similar to the web belts we wore in the Army with our uniforms. I bought this stuff from a local Army surplus store and it comes in roll form. There also is a company that sells white webbing on the internet and their link is http://jas-townsend.com/index.php?cPath=29  I prefer the Army surplus store webbing because it's a bit heavier and the color seemed just about right.

That's definitely a fine belt, Johnny. Highly impressive. The cotton webbing really works nicely on it. How did you sew the ends so it didn't stick out to fray?

I also love the resume. Cool.

Howdy Marshall,

Enclosed are a few pictures of how I installed the webbing. This belt is made of two ply's of 4-5 oz. Leather glued together with Barge. The webbing is sandwiched in between the two ply's. Actually there is no sewing done on the webbing.

Thanks, Johnny. That makes for a nice looking belt. I'll have to play with that idea some. Nice work.

Howdy Marshall,

Thanks for the kind words. I replaced the last picture with one that shows the back of the belt (lining side) a little better.
