Howdy Cowboy 316,
A great example of carving, lacing and fine workmanship! Thank you for sharing your talents and expertise with all of us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

New guy, here. I just introduced myself in the Greetings Topic. Then I started looking through this thread. Some damn fine stuff here. It's been a very very long time since I made up this kind of stuff, but lately, it seems I've been asked to, so here's one from last week. Let me know what you think.

JD Alan

Welcome there Rocky River, and thanks for showing us your work. You may not have done this in a while, but it doesn't appear that yoy've lost any of your abilities!. That's a nice looking rig. Are you going to make some holsters to match it?

KidTerico

Glad to have you on board RR. Nice belt. KT
Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Rocky River

Yep.Yep, they are coming...The cyylinder sewing machine acted up. I think I fixed it, but you never know until you put that thing you worked on for hours under the needle...
Thanks for the comps. This was meant to be just a sample (and a "let's see if I remember"). I didn't go crazy with it, just a simple buscadero, if there is such a thing.  A fully carved out rig is one of my next goals. I just have to find the time between iphone cases, pancakes, and dog collars...lol

Just finished this one up, not very Western but leather none the less.My good friend Alan Folts did this beautiful dagger with a carved Mother of Pearl handle and carved blade and I did the sheath inlayed in lizard and a nice black Tiger's eye stone.Dave

Skeeter Lewis

Welcome, Rocky! Looking forward to the rest.

Nice work, Dave.

This is a plain possibles bag. I used grain on both sides for the strap so it rides more smoothly on the shoulder. The leather roundel covers a magnetic closer. I use the 'M' stamp as a substitute maker's mark.

Johnny McCrae

Howdy Rocky,
Welcome to the Forum. Nice looking Rig. We look forward to seeing more of your work.

Howdy Dave,
Beautiful job on your Sheath. It really compliments the knife.

Howdy Skeeter,
That is a very neat and clean looking Possibles Bag you have made there. Great job of molding!

Many thanks to you Gents for sharing your work with us.
