One last wallet to show.  I figured since I made something for everyone else in my family, I should treat myself to a new wallet.  My old one was falling appart.

Howdy AC,
Beautiful job on your Wallet! When you use it and are asked where you bought it, you can proudly say "I made it".

Howdy Wiley,
Beautiful work on those Rigs! They would look right at home on the pages of "Packing Iron".

You Gents should be very proud of your work. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

Beautiful job on the purse, AC. Your daughter should be tickled with that one.

Oh, yeah, Wiley! Very cool work. You do PI justice. Thanks for the pics.

Wiley, I really like those rigs. They are authentic - they haven't been cut down or adapted for fast draw. Those half-skirt holsters from Texas shown in Packing Iron look terrific, don't they?

Yeah, I know we're into fast draw: it's hard to square the circle.

Here are some plain Janes from The Book....

Johnny McCrae

Howdy Skeeter,
You might call your Holsters "plain Jane's" but they sure do have a classic and elegant look to them. Excellent workmanship! Many thanks for sharing your work with us.

Skeeter, those are fine looking holsters. The color and workmanship are both great great. What kind of leather are you using there, as far as color, brand and weight? Thanks!

Skeeter Lewis

Thanks Johnny, 10W and JD.

JD, it's ordinary veg tan leather from Tandy in 8-9 ounces, a weight I like the most. I use 9-10 oz. for belts. There's nothing on it but EVOO and sunshine.

I find the quality from Tandy very variable. Sometimes I have to look pretty hard to find one good hide.

KidTerico

Skeeter some nice looking holsters your showing. Keep them comming.  KT
Cheer up things could be worse, sure enough I cheered up and they got worse.

Wiley Desperado

AC, you've got that leather carving down pat great looking wallet.
Skeeter, very well done pard I admire your leather working skills,  Iike you, I sure favor the old style.
Thanks to all of you for the compliments on the holsters and belt made my day.   ;D
