Thanks Gun click Rick, Kid Terico,Boot Hill Bob, Dalton, and Helda, your comments and kind words are appreciated, Helda using natural dyes you can get colors that you can't get out of a bottle, and you can control the depth and tone also. Kid some times I like doing a plainer looking rig, it will highlight your gun better, LOL. ;D

Thanks all for stopping by and taking a look see  ::)

Man, my coffee I just tried didn't have the same effect. I did it per instructions, but it seemed much lighter than yours. Maybe I shouldn't have added cream... (little joke).

Santee, I add some iron to a one pound can of Extra Dark coffee , I use the whole can, I use about two heaping table spoons of broken /crumbled up iron, or you could use a dozen iron nails,  while it is cooking and I leave it in. After cooking for three or so hours, when cool I pour the whole thing into a container grounds and all, without the iron you will get a much lighter color, which is what some like or prefer, for me I like the darker color, and the adding of iron gives that to me, when I cook the coffee, I cook it in a 20 QT. pot , filled about 3/4 full of water, after I bring it to a boil , I put the lid on and turn it down to a simmer, I know there are other ways of doing this, but this is how I do mine, and I'm happy with the results, give it a try with the iron.

I've added a belt to this set of holsters. As you can see it's two toned. I'm working on a second belt that is the color of the billets on this belt, with brass spots to tie in with the brass Conchos. I'll dye the billets the same color as the holsters

This is my first ranger or billet belt. I've done straight and tapered before. If you see anything I ought to change, or maybe a better way to do something please let me know. I've intentionally used an extra long billet, since I'm going to use this rig myself and it's a personal preference.

Howdy JD,
The entire Rig looks great. I wouldn't change a thing.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself
