Howdy Montana,
Beautiful work on your Belt! The carving and design are excellent. Great color and finish!

Howdy JD,
Those are some beautiful Holsters! The contrasting finish gives them a great look. Nice job of dyeing and finishing!

Many thanks to you Gents for sharing your work with us.

Thank you gentlemen, I appreciate the positive feedback. Overall I'm happy with how they came out. I think the next set with be a little narrower towards the bottom, with more of a curve. These are a little too straight up and down for my taste, something I didn't realize until it was too late on this pair.

I think I'm going to make a ranger belt and carry on the two tone look with the belt dark and the billets the same color as the straps. I've not made a belt with a sewn on billet yet, so I need to get to it.

I finished up a new rig this week, I thought you might like to see, I call it a Classic Lawman's gun leather, the holster is lined, and you can see a little buck shot hole at the front of the skirt, I didn't realize it was there until after I did my cutting, it looks like an injection hole or insect bite, but I'm going to call it a buck shot hole, just cause it sounds better, this is one of those cases where you make a flaw work for you, which I like doing anyway, the tooling I made simple, and didn't add any bling, the holster is on my lock system to help keep it where I want on the belt, it also has a hammer thong, the belt is a money gun belt, with twelve bullet loops sewed in, the loops are on the right side for easy loading as is the buckle, this is the way I like building a left handed rig. The whole rig was dyed in my extra dark roast coffee dye, and finished the way I like finishing.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look see

Howdy TW,
That is one fine looking Rig! The color and finishing are awesome coupled with your usual first class workmanship! This has a great classic look to it. The buckshot hole certainly adds character to the Rig. Many thanks for sharing your talents and expertise with us.

JD, I know that the belt will look as good as the holsters and they look great.

TW, very nice looking rig. It does have that classic lawman look to it and I really like that money belt.

JD, you are really getting good....  Those holsters are top notch.  Can't wait to see the belt.  Bullet loops ain't that hard, after you do a couple the rest fall into place.

TW, again you have nailed it.  Great lookin rig.

I wish I was retired so I would have the energy to work on leather every day.  OH well, only three years max left.

JD, you are dialed in on those holsters my friend real good leather work!  The two tone coloring has got a great contrast to it. Talent plenty of talent.  Looking forward to seeing that ranger belt knowing it will be good.

TW, out of the ball park over the center field fence and into the parking lot...you slamed it...beautiful!!!

Wiley ;D

Marshal Will Wingam

Nice work, Slick. That belt is a fine one. I like the floral design. Well done, pard.

Very nice contrasting holsters, JD. Yep, a belt is in order, now. The ranger in two-tone is a good idea. Looking forward to seeing the complete rig.

TW, that rig is very nice. That California Roasting Company brown really looks good. The holster and money belt really are a nice combination. Good work.
