Beautiful work! Excellent job with the Meander stamp! It ain't the easiest stamp to use. Thanks for sharing.

Helda, good work on both items. The colors on the purse are really great. Nice work on the tooling, too.

Wiley, that holster is really good looking. the meander works very well and the finish is impressive. Looks like it should be IN Packing Iron.

Thanks for the welcome Gents.

Yes, I am a Chef.  Currently teaching Culinary Arts at a Utah Job Corps Center.

I have been doing leather as a hobby for a year or two.  Wish I had more time to work on projects.

JD, the scabbard is made with a nice piece of upholstery leather I picked up at a local Utah store by the name of Smith and Edwards for $14 bucks.  Those are conchos on the bottom, I just wanted something to anchor my sewing a bit.  Sewing that sucker by hand was a definite learning experience!
I suppose I better russle ya'll up some grub....

Far be it for me to tell anyone how to use a stamp or lay out a pattern. When I looked at yours up close my eyes caught the corners.
Here is something to think about for other ones.
I stamp my inside row first starting in my corners and working to the middle. That way I don't have a stamp kinda hanging out there on the end.
Just a thought.

Just finished a remake of my prototype slide. It was immersed in the Walnut dye for two hours followed by two coats of Neets and two coats of Skidmores.
