I'll second, that, Wiley. Congrats to all for wonderful work.

Wiley.  There kinda' ain't instructions for it. Basically you treat it like a triangle. Pick one point and think of it as the top with the other 2 as the right and left bases. If you want to put your pattern straight up the middle of something then draw a faint line and center the topmost point. If you whack it and get a good 3 point basketweave impression then move it up until the bottom (center) of the stamp fits over the top of the first impression. Work your way up and when done, keep it vertical and start again. The next row will fit into the first row like a jigsaw puzzle..

Howdy Ned,
Your Slippers look pretty professional to me. Very nice job! Sometime I'll have to make a pair for the wife and I.

Howdy MHB,
Beautiful looking Holsters! Great job of finishing and decorating! The Ace looks cool.

Many thanks to you Gents for sharing your work with us.

Ned, good lookin foot wear.

MHB, good job on your holsters. Very clean lines on the holsters and the spades. Good attention to detail, something I really need to work on.

Howdy Camp Cook, let me say welcome to the forum and introduce myself. I'm JD, the Nosey One around here :P I'm always asking questions, to try to learn more about this thing called leatherworking.

All of your work looks good, and I appreciate you sharing pictures. The scabbard especially interests me. Are those snaps on the bottom or Conchos? Either way it looks real good. What kind of leather did you use? I'm not real good at identifying leather yet.

Thanks a lot.
