Outrider I sent my wife the pic of you in front of the sewing MONSTER and she was clearly impressed. She's a pro with clothing, quilting & all sorts of domestic sewing stuff. She won her first sewing competition at age 12. She operates the industrial singer I was given when the need arises.

That's a real nice rig Rick, you are blessed to have one of Terry's rigs. He puts a lot of heart in the things he makes.

I know this is really elementary leather work but I needed a pair.

As the last ones I made 18 years ago, yes that's 18 and still to this day wear every day they have definatly seen better times! ::)

I found enough Elk so this was a no cost project which is also important, very VERY slow around here.

Any way here they are.

Very nice, Ned.  Where do you get the soles?
People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

It's called sole saver made by Cats Paw. I bought a bunch of it from a cobbler supply place that was going out of business.

It comes in sheets about 2 feet square, I've got way more than I'll ever use do you want some?

Let me know.
