BhB, I'm a fan of the tri stamps, so I think it's cool, and like Marshall Will says, it's different than the norm, but that's ok.

ACE, that is a Sweet set up pal, you did a nice job with it. That is my kind of rig; more modern than old time.

Howdy Pards,
It does my heart good to hear all the kind words from my friends!! I put a lot of hoyrs in on that rig, but I wasn't in any hurry! I realy like making the Hollywood rigs but they are not my favorite! Someday I play on making a rig like the first one Curley Cole posted! But I feel that is a project that will take a ton of time and right now isn't the right time, maybe this summer???
Thanks so much for the kind words!!
ACE
P.S., AC it is warming up a little, tomorrow is going to be 73 degrees, and i will try and make it in the shop!

Boothill Bob:

I like it. Interesting, out of the ordinary and clean. I was thinking what a nice dress belt pattern that would be.

Ace:

Good work, pard. Man, it doesn't see like that long ago that you were just getting interested in this stuff. Sure come a long way since then.....

MontanaSlick

Not yet MHB, I'm almost half way done with the belt, takes fer ever to carve n' tool the pattern.
Dooin the whole belt, would like to take it out at the next match here in a couple of weeks.

Biscuit Joe

Wow ACE. Black with shiney spots are a great combo! I'd wear that rig with a lot of pride. I bet your friend will too!

santee

I re-visited a pattern from last year, to see if I could improve it a bit. This time I had a better quality leather, and more experience. Luckily, it matched well with the already existing cartridge belt. Gotta love this stuff, eh?

Sante, you nailed that one. It looks like a pro built it in the 1800's. I love the color and the overall final look.
