AC, that is one beautiful holster, your carving skills have improved leaps and bounds, although even your early work look good to me, I like the color on this holster too, nice border, just really nice all around. Thanks for the look see pard.

Thanks TW, I made this one out of very heavy skirting leather (12 to 13oz). I really liked the tooling properties of this weight of leather. The color matches an old saddle I have, I wanted it to look very old. I think it turned out great. (The color does hide my mistakes, ha ha) Thanks again.

Thanks Dr. Bob, I have darkened the two straps since the last pics. Looks even better now. Just waiting for the leather to dry so I can put the finish on. Then maybe a belt and a cross draw.... For next weekend...

Thanks Montana This was my first Oak carving. Used a Stohlman pattern modified to fit the holster.
