Howdy all,

As usual, I miss a week or three  ??? and have to spend an entire evening catching up on all the beautiful work happening here. What can I say, y'all are arteeesions..... uh, artisticles...... oh heck, real good leather do'ers!  ;D  ::) ;D

Boothill Bob,
Your workspace is toooooooo neat, you're a sick, sick man!  Set's a bad example for me to try to follow. ;)

Keep up the pretty stuff, I'm not working on anything right now and don't know when I'll be able to get back to my bench. I actually can't even see it right now for all the crap piled on it!  8)

As always, you all have done some great stuff. I've missed a couple days and there are way too many to comment on individually. Thanks for the pics and explanations.

Welcome to the forum, Boothill Bob. Looking forward to more of your posts.

Glad to see you back in the fire, Kid. We missed your regular posts.

Doggone beautiful work, pards.

Toe Plugs? We don't need no stinkin Toe Plugs ! Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Bob, if you have any other seemingly impossible situations to fix, don't dump anything until you consult WC. I knew he would have a solution for you!

AC, looks like you've got a good start on those Oak Leaves. I'm looking forward to seeing them finished.

Yeah, yeah, this is a bit artsy.
The chaps don't have buckles or zips. The legs are held together the old-fashioned way, by leather lacing fixed in place top and bottom by copper rivets.
I don't know if rootin' tootin' cowboys had man-bags but listen guys -  I'm in touch with my feelings.
The holster is from page 98 of Packing Iron.
My dad got the half-hunter watch in India way back.
I'm not really making a rig every day like Kid Terico; it's just that I've got a backlog of work I've never posted.

Hey, man bags are okay if'n your holdin' bullets or a hideout gun in them.
Nice work.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I've got a deringer and a toad-stabber in that man-bag - so I can hold my head high.

Johnny McCrae

Howdy AC,
I like the way you have placed the carving pattern to fit the Holster. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished Holster. Your work is top notch!

Howdy Skeeter,
Beautiful work! The Holster has a real elegant look to it. Many thanks for sharing your talents with us.

Thanks Wiley, Johnny, GB, Santee.

AC, good luck with that carving. I've put off that aspect of leather work until recently. Now I'm hooked.
