Missouri Half Breed, I like the design and color of the "Snubbie" That carving thing takes time bro. What they keep tellin me is to make deeper cuts with the swivel knife, like half the thickness of the leather. It's a good carving design. Keep it up Pard, keep it up. JD

Good job MHB! What JD said about the deeper cuts, is right on.

Boothill Bob, Welcome to CasCity, and very nice set of Cheyennes! Thats my personal favorite (right now) style of holster.

Howdy Boothill Bob, I see this is your first post here, so let me be the first to welcome you to this fine fourm! This is a great place with a lot of great, helpful guys.

That is a real nice looking rig Bob, real nice indeed. The color is really outstanding; in fact everything about it looks professional to me. Thanks for sharing your work; you will be getting lots of welcomes and positive comments on your work, JD

Well shoot, while I was writing this two other Pards jumped in there to welcome you, so that makes me third, unless someone's writing something right this second!

EE, you've done a great job on that fancy black rig alright, but I would like to know about that shotgun belt.

It appears you have some single and double loops on that puppy. How does that work out, and how do you lay it out? Doubles on one side, singles on the other?

Inquiring minds would like to know!

Sorry to take so long gettin' back to you. Had a family thing goin' on last night that just plum tuckered me out.

The SG belt is set up with 4 doubles on the weak (left) side for loading my TTN, then there are 6 singles on the strong side spread apart to grab 2 for the 97, one between the index finger and middle finger, and one between the ring finger and little finger.

That way, when running my 97 I grab two from the double side and load over the top and then load strong hand with the singles.

I hope that makes sense to you.

I'll try to post a pic soon showing how I do it.
