Howdy Cowboy,
Great job on your cuffs! Beautiful color! Sure wish I could get some sun to work with.

Howdy AC,
Very very nice! Beautiful job of carving! Look forward to seeing the finished product.

Thank you Gents for sharing your work with us.

Okay, heres the results of my carving and beveling class today, also did a coaster wid a flower on it .

Gave the flower to my Wife fer Valintines day. ::)  Cheap? heck no, took me 2 hrs. to get it done. ;D

Here's the sample I made up for a slim jim holster, havent dyed it yet, what color do Y'all think? ::)

Slick :)

Here's an update on my practice pattern. I reworked the beveling and added some, learned how to walk, no excuses.

Trying to forward this with the info and piks.

Thanks Wiley, like I said I may do the lacing over on the seam.  I am happy with the upper portion.   Still have to give it a few more coats of Skidmores.  Again Thanks,

Howdy Montana,
Your carving is looking good! I can't wait to see it on a Holster.

Howdy AC,
That is a mighty fine look looking Holster! It is an all around great job especially the carving. I agree with TW... the lacing looks fine.

Thank you Gents for sharing your work with us.

Hey, I know its a few days late, but the cans of Skidmores I have are 1 pint cans. I got mine from the Leather Guy when he sat up at our State Rendezvous last year. They should last me a long time.

Montana, I would just oil it and give it some sun. Looks good.

Here's a hand full I've been working on. The one on the far right is one I've had on here before and I'm going through it and cleaning it up.
The one right center is a rig I built a few years back for a guy. I'm going to be making a third holster for his rig in left strong side.
He has a right strong and a right cross draw now.
The one left center is my new rig. Left strong side. The right strong side will soon follow as well as the belt and other items.
The one far left is an addition to a ladies rig. Right cross draw. She already has dual strong sides. Her belt is contoured and has adjustable billets for fit.

A close up view of the ladies holster.....

Once again, flattering mistakes.  I've got some cleaning up to do on the ladies holster. I will be taking it back apart to do some final finish work.

So, what do ya think?
