JD,
Yer right, I stitched this one for a 2 1/2 " belt or, you can make it for up to 3" or more.

I like the 2 1/2" as it is more comfortable for bending over and great for back support.

The belts I've made for my Sidekicks say that the back problem has gone.

Pictured on the right is the BH right hand crossdraw and the left holster is for a Schofield, that I made for my Frin up in Calgary Alberta.

He calls it the Josey Wales rig.

Thanks TW,
The new shop is the first time ever organized play area. The reloading equipment is all boxed up and the leather is in.

Thinkin' bout making a slim jim holster rig like the one in the pik I made for my Sidekick Longfellow.
He's the krazy Canadian who likes to rubb elbows with the Open Range Gang.

He sent me a 100% beaver hat like Duval's, he calls it the Boss Spearman. No pik as this is the wrong thread

Have to keep on the leather subject.

Daves knife sheath is awsome, I like the basket weave and his  new one he posted is just real art.

MHB nice job. great color. Your really getting the hang of it. Keep showing. KT

JD Alan

Missouri HB, there is a "How to" for posting pictures on the FAO thread, along with a whole host of great information. I use Photobucket for my pictures, and my wife's good quality SLR camera. The problem is the pictures are too clear, and show every little mistake you make.

I sure would like to see a picture of the back of that last holster you made. I'm curious as to how you attached the keeper strap to the back flap. There seems to be lots of ways to do it (tied, riveted, screwed, stapled) and I'm always looking for a better way to do it, one that makes the holster more secure.

Thanks for your posts, JD
