This is a rattlesnake sheath I made for a knife I own.

lbaize3@yahoo.com

These are three rigs I finished about a week ago.

EE Taft

This is my rig from last year. It's a little dirty and roughed up but it passes (I guess ;D)

It's a little simpler design and not quite as flashy.

Man, a guy sure has to stay on his toes around here, with all the fine leatherwork coming down the pike or he's likely to miss it.

EE Taft, those are some real fine looking holsters and belts I can't say which I'm more partial too, 'cause they all look good. The black one is a real killer for quality.

Cowboy 316, I use to own a gun just like that; it was a stubby little due. You've done a real nice job on that one.

Mr. Dave Cole, could you possibly show a picture of the backsides of those holsters? I sure would like to see how you make'm to hand on belts!!

Ibaize3, you've done some right nice work yourself. I like the looks of all of it.

I've got to shake a leg here'n get somthin done!

The man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument.

Reverend

Those are some great lookin holster guys. If I could find some Oklahoma State Cowboy conchos Mr Taft  :o I will need some close up pictures of your rig. The KT sent me a picture of a rig he built in orange & black.. I have to make one in orange & black with Oklahoma State Cowboy Pistol Petes on them. Go pokes. 8) Sorry lost my head. :P

JD said it right, if you're away for a few minutes things can start popping around here, Ibraize your holsters look great, nice use of the basket weave, and that rattle snake skin inlay knife sheath is cool, thanks for the look see, and Welcome to the forum.

              tEN wOLVES  ;) :D ;D

EE Taft, your handy work is very well done pard, the double stitching is an extra nice touch, and your two tone look is also nice, you've been at this leather stuff for a while, I mean this isn't your first rodeo, so to speak, we're looking forward to seeing more from you, thanks for the look see. ::) :o 8) ;D

First Montana and KT thanks for the kind remarks much appreciated.

Whoa!! who called this rodeo? goodness what fine leatherwork!! Let me see... Howdy EE Taft welcome to the leather forum.  Mighty nice leatherwork there cowboy like TW said this isn't your first rodeo.

316, pard I like that holster very well done. Those little square guns are kinda hard to build a holster for aren't they? Oh, and congratulations on that gun store gig...sweet!!

Dave, what can I say pard, beautiful leatherwork,  I certainly agree with what you said about Glock holsters, cover the triger. I've got a little inside the pants conceal carry holster I made for my Glock model 27 I have used for several years I am going to post it nothing fancy but it works real good.

Howdy Ibaize3,  nice sheath man that rattlesnake stuff scares me but it sure is purdy.  Those holsters are real good pard. All of your leatherwork  is really well done.

Hope I didn't leave anyone out.  WOW, this site is smokin with leatherwork!!!

Wiley :) ;) :D ;D

EE Taft

Nope, ain't my first rodeo all.

Thanks all for the kind words and thanks Cowboy 316, Dave, and Ibaize3 for posting in with their beautiful leather art. Some folks 'round my part say "how much do you think the demand is for leather?"

I just tell 'em that I've found the demand from the greatest bunch of Pards in the world.

I've heard the art of leather crafting is dying out, well I'm here ta tell ya, IT AIN'T!

A little surprize for those that don't already know, I'm only 29 years old and have been doing this for about 18 years.
I wouldn't do it if I didn't LOVE it.

Hey Reverend, Did you say you needed more pics. of something I posted?  I'd be happy to help ya out.
Here is a closer shot of the two tone, mind you it has seen a year's rough use.
Not a real flattering pic. of that one but it gets you closer to see what it consists of.
It's a pretty simple design as far as the tooling and cut goes, but it's a fast rig.
