Howdy Ned,
That's a mighty fine looking rig. The pistol really looks right at home in there. Thanks for showing it to us.

Kind of a tedious job but the end result is worth the trip.

I don't do them often but once in a while a certain design just calls out for one.

Like this.

Ned

I agree Ned, the toe plugs  really puts the period correctness into them too, once you've done a couple it really isn't that hard to do, and it does help keep the holster intact, especially if lighter leather is used, I personally don't care for them, I like a open end, so any junk can just fall out, but for wearing in snow or muddy parts of the country, it can be a life saver, by keeping the bore open and unplugged in case of a fall.

Johnny McCrae, beautiful holsters Pal, you're really knocking them out, that new work shop is paying dividends .

Finally got this rig finished. Second holster and belt. KT

Gun Butcher

Kid, you must punch holes in your sleep ;)  Again you have built a rig that just calls to me. Simply stated, I love it. I have got a bunch of questions to ask about that rig.
I wish I still had that side of buffalo that I wasted on other things . The grain in it would have made a really pretty rig like that one. Maybe one of these days I will get my hands on another one. Great work Pard that is a beautiful rig.

Very nice Kid, this must be the one you were talking about, it's a beauty, one thing is for sure, you really know how to think outside the box, and always tastefully, your limited use of spots is really right on for this rig, I know you were probably were biting your tongue and having convulsions with wanting to put more bling on this rig, but I think you made the right choice, it looks great pard. ::) :o 8)

GCR great little pun.  ;D ;D TW I still have the shakes but this is not the one with the distressed leather. Thats another one I,m working on KT

Wiley Desperado

Johnny, I personally like the rounded closed toe on your holster.  The toe plug would also look good, either way it's going to be a beauty.

Ned, very nicely done rig pard.  One of these days I'm gonig to try that toe plug thing...maybe.  I do think that toe plugs are done with smoke and mirrors.

KT, do you sleep now and then?  Cowboy that is a master piece of a rig.

Johnny, those holsters look good. You're going to have fun with the toe plugs, too. They really make a holster look good.

Ned, that is a fine example of one with the toe plug. Very nice work, there.

Nice finish-up on the rig, Kid. That looks goood.

Johnny and Ned, good work guys, even if it's back to the darwing board for johnny

KT, Gun Butcher isn't the only one wanting to know how you did that. You're going to have to talk about the belt on that rig. I like it but I'm sure criouis as to how you did that.

GB, I don't think the guy sleeps or eats, he just punches out leather 24/7  ;D
