Everyone thanks for the nice remarks.  KT

Talked to Ace this afternoon and he sorta talked me into making another old style holster. Got one done, need to make another and belt.KT

That's a really nice sheath, Wiley. It matches the knife perfectly. Good work on that one.

Quote from: JD Alan on January 05, 2010, 12:02:57 PMI'm not at all happy with the look of "Spotty" but the black one is not too bad. I did learn some things from the spotted one, so I'm glad I made it.
I like both of them. They have their own appeal and spotty has real character. Nice work.

Cowboy, that two-tone wild rose holster is great. Nice job on the tooling and execution of the whole thing.

Kid, that holster with the diagonal loop is really fine. Just the right amount of bling for my blood. I like this one a lot. Very nice. The other one is good, too. Ace talked you into another good one. Good work on both.

Josh, that sheath goes nicely with the knife (very cool, I must say). The iron boot clip is a nice touch. Great stuff.

Thanks GB.  I sarted with 8-10 oz. wicket and craig leather. The diagonal leather I sewed over the top is 4 oz . deer hide that I dyed and the 1 in. strip on the bottom is rawhide formed and dyed and drilled for tacks. KT

Howdy Josh, I don't believe we've talked before. Your knife and sheath are first rate. I really appreciate the close up pictures. I don't know about you, but when I post pictures that clear it's kinda like runnin around in your underwear outside, everyone gets to examine your work up close :o Now if you are Chuck Burrows, no problem, but if you are like me, well that's another story.

That clip and how you set it up really looks sharp. The stiching is real straight too. Thanks for sharing your work, JD

Just finished my new rig for my 22Cal Colt Frontier Scout.  Used the method that KT used to keep the leather to a min by sewing half of a holster to a back.

Great lookin sheaths, do you have a pic of the back of the one with the brass spots?  Is the slot part of or the only belt loop?
