Howdy Doc O,

Great looking set of Slim Jim's! My favorite style of Holster. Thank you for showing them to us.

Howdy CQMD, mighty fine leather work nice over all balance.
Johnny M, I have been following your work for awhile now and you are very talented my friend.
316, Isn't that a fun carving pattern?  You nailed it cowboy.
Howdy Doc O, The molding and coloring of those slim jims are really nice I like those holsters a lot.
Thanks for sharing

That holster is really nice, Johnny. The meander is definitely done right and looks good with the small floral stamp at the ends. The spots add to the overall look. Nice work.

Cowboy, that JJ holster is really nice. Very smooth work on the tooling. That'll look good with any finish you choose. Very good.

Those holsters are clean and lean. That's a good look, especially with the color you have. The molding is done well. Very nice work.

Heres something I just finished. Friend of the wife wanted the holster to be wraped with stainless like the back of her saddle. Not real happy with it . Cant regulate the curves for spacing like you can wirh leather. I sent her a pict. and told her we could throw it and do a braided one but she likes this. KT

JD Alan

Overall the holster looks great. While the wrapping my not be my (or your) cup of tea, A+ for giving it a try. I can't even imagine what it took to wrap that. Amazing, JD

I've worked with stainless a lot. Not with leather, but building machinery. How many band-aids did the job take? ;D It's an interesting holster. You certainly did tackle a different project. The finished item even looks fine. I agree you get an A+ for doing it.

Marshall the inlaid is easy next  to the stainless. I wore tight deer skin leather gloves and used needle nose pliers and still raised heck with the glovers. No cuts Thanks JD and Marshall. Not the best looking. Now I have to make a belt and wrap the whole thing. It should be easier with out the square corners. Projects like this sort of takes the fun out of it. KT

Dave Cole

I'm like the Marshall, I only did it building machinery.Looks good. How you liking that way of doing inlays pard?Dave

Johnny McCrae

Howdy KT,
That is a nifty looking holster! Well executed! Your workshop produces the largest array of designs and looks I've ever seen. I don't believe you have ever met a material you couldn't work with. Thank you for sharing this talent with us.

I'm just finishing up a holster today, like Ace I use natural dyes and hand stitch all of my projects.

My new Mancave is working out just fine, I can stretch out those long belts out and getter done. ;)

Kid, I think this holster looks great, the angles look right for an easy draw, your inlay is perfect, just the right amount of bling, I know you wanted to put more bling on it, but it looks nice the way it is, WELL DONE Pard  ::) :o 8) and those people in the parking lot were just doing what anyone would do to stay warm. :P ::) 8) ;D
