I saw the knife as he was progressing with it , but tonight Josh came over and I saw the sheath. He did an awesome on it.Dave  ;D

Josh, that sheath is perfect for that knife. The color really looks right with the handle. The brass spots carry it further. The buckskin & fringe really set it off. thanks for the pic.

Beautiful job on your Knife and Sheath! It has a real authentic period look to it. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and it seems to pull off the period look successfully which was my main goal.  She's in the Pony Express's hands now on her way to KT.

KT-  I fer one would love ya to do a "Show my collection" post in the fashion of TW with a bit of a yarn splainin each gals history.

Thanks once again Pards  ;D

Kid Terico

 Howdy All

KT, thanks for the kind words pard, but I'm sure you could tell a story or two, but either way you're going to have one fine collection, of all these wonderful knife smith's, can't wait to see the next one, and that sheath by Dave and Josh should be a site to see, can't wait to see that either, there is something special about a one of a kind leather sheath made by folks you know.

Thanks Pards!

It's my take on the Ladies bronc buster belt. I call them Prairie Belts.
The turquoise stone is in a rawhide set I made then sewed to the insert. I looked it over to decide how I wanted to mount it and noticed the black in the stone formed a "T". With the Gals' alias being Turquoise Tess, it worked out perfectly.  ;D I make a narrower belt for the Ladies that are , shall we say, a bit more height challenged so it doesn't look like WWF trophy belt on them.  :o ::)

Canelo Kate is after me for a carved belt, I suppose with Christmas and her birthday coming up next month........ ;) 8)

Ten Wolves, I like spot work too.
