TW, I think you are right about the KID's batteries being Nicad. He says they are really old batteries but if they are then they must have been built when things were made to last ;) ;D

A couple of new pieces:
Frontiersman holster heavily aged with a rawhide fix-it and beadwork...

Muzzleloader shooting pouch...along with a couple of new knives which still need their sheaths...

Dang Chuck! Where did you dig up the fossil holster?!?! That thing almost looks rotten, with all those cracks. Very good job of replicating age.
Beautiful work on both the holster and the bag. Knives look good too.

KT, you really have a diverse taste in Gun Leather! That holster is really an amazing piece.  Personally not my style, but I sure do appreciate the workmanship involved.

Chuck, the knives are downright incredible, as is the bag and the holster.

Hey Chuck, so that my comment is not misconstrued, I meant rotten in a really good way! ;)

Chuck that is some  absolutely beautiful work on the leather and the blades. You have a very unique style that I really appreciate.
Kid, congrats on adding another winner to your stable.

Well here is my next offering, and Chuck is a tough act to follow, but here it is anyway.
the blade is 6 3/4" long and overall is 11"
The sheath is 8-9 oz covered with buckskin and beaded then dipped in pecan dye. It is still a little wet so I am hoping the sun will shine tomorrow and lighten it up some.

Howdy KT,
I'm just amazed at the wide variety of looks and styles that come out of your workshop. They are all different and extremely well done. Everything I make seems to look the same. Many thanks for sharing and please keep em' coming.

Howdy Chuck,
Thank you for sharing another work of art and museum piece with us.

Howdy GB,
Beautiful job on your Knife and Sheath! It has a great look to it. You can be very proud of your work. Thanks for sharing it with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Thanks Pards, I really enjoy beadwork. It will really teach you patience especially after you stick yourself a few times  :o ;) ;D

GB,
Great job on your knife and sheath Pard . I really like that you chose a hand filling piece of stag and tapered the sides in the front for good looks an erogonimics

Chuck, Your work is 100% pure inspiration !  Thats about the best compliment I can give a fella.  Only a few makers hit the nail on the head every single time an yer one, IMHO. Haven't given a call to chat period knives but I put your number in my phone so I wouldn't lose track of it.  I never know when a good time to call is without interupting work, supper, or sleep, LOL.

KT, I'm gonna have something post worthy very soon  ;)  probably this evenin .  Let me know if you want me to get pics up or wait for a suprize ?
