Howdy Kid,  :D

Boy howdy pard you're just like that energizer bunny, the way you are turning out rigs, I'm jealous,LOL, this rig is also beautiful, I love your thoughts on tooling, and your use of border stamping, you seem to be able to see ahead in your design, which can be a task for a lot of us, but you're able to pull it off with great results, WELL DONE Kid. ::) :o 8)

TW I made it because GB likes this this type. I think I can use a new arm after this rig. Probley do a old one next. Had to give 4 rigs away this week to make room for the new ones. Wife wont let me expand into any more of the house or I wont make my 49th. anniv. in Jan. :P KT

JD Alan

That's a fine looking rig KT. I don't see any stitching on the belt. It may just be the picture though. Is that end stitched on? No matter what it is a heck of a rig!

Kid Terico

JD belt and holster are fully lined and stiched. I recessed the stiching so it wouldnt stand out so much and distract from the rest of the rig. The ends are stitched on. I also dyed the thread to match. KT

Well in that case Kid you better listen to her, I can see how the arm would be tired, GOOD GRIEF that's a lot of hand and mallet work, by the way I enjoyed our talk the other day, and I'm happy to hear you are doing much better, you'll be back to your old self in no time.

           Best Regards Pard

Kid, that rig may be plain in your eyes, but for me it looks just right. Nice work. The brown rig is a great color. The design looks nice with that. More nice work. The sheath is very cool. Even more nice work. :D

You hid those stitches real well. Did you did a particularly deep stitch line? Is there anything else you did to hide the stitches?

Kid Terico

JD normal stitch line. Antiqued the line and dyed the thread to match . Used shoe hammer to flatten the thread. Hope this helps. KT

Johnny McCrae

Howdy Kid,

Just looked at the last two rigs you have posted. Simply outstanding! You mentioned that one of them was "plain". Well I'll tell you Kid, I'd love to have the skills to make a rig that "plain". As I've said before, your work is a genuine pleasure to look at. Please keep em' coming.

Hey Kid, you ol dog, you did it again. You just keep impressing me. That is one Sweet looking rig no doubt about it.Do you dream your stamping patterns? And I love the full width billets. You just never cease to amaze me.
Tell me about the sheath is it covered? what weight of leather etc....

I am honored  beyond words that you would sort of dedicate a beautiful piece of work like this to me.  Thank you, GB
