K.T. That is a AWESOME rig!! Some people don't go nuts on the Hollywood Rigs but I realy like to look at Bling!!! You have to have a ton of hours in that rig! Lots of planning went into they layout  of that rig! I like the way everything flows toghter on it!
Thanks for sharing!!

I share Ace's feelings about the Hollywood rigs. I realize they're not everyone's cup of tea, though I'm sure everyone appreciates the workmanship.

I have a ton of questions, but I'll hold it to two. If you don't mind the inquiries, what kind of leather did you use to the line the holster with? It looks great.

Second, how did you apply the darker outline on that rig? Did you use a brush or spray it, or perhaps some other method?  It's really an exceptional feature.

Thanks very much. Still learning here, JD

J D I,m probley not the person to ask since I,m just a beginner my self but will try to help. All my leather is Wicket and Cragg. Standard best they have I usually line with 4-5 oz. Main leather is 7-8 oz. Unlined is 10oz. I tried something different on this. I used some 4oz. elk hide for the linning.. I mix all my own colors. Cant make 2 the same because I dont keep track of mixture. Alot of my 2 tone or 3 tone is straight oiling with no color added The rig with the darkened ends is put on with a 1/8  or 1/4 brush.KT

Kid, they are are really nice looking rigs. Some of them look like they might weigh as much as a good stock saddle  ;) but they sure do look nice.
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

G B  thats another one of my secrets. If I ever desideded to make a rig for sale  I would have the market cornered. I would charge by the pound. ;D ;D ???
