Howdy KT,  :)
That is a awesome rig!! great layout, nice border and well placed concohs. That is great work for only 3 years of leather working! I can only hope I am 1/2 that good when I have been doing it for 3 years!
Thanks for sharing!

Howdy Kid, very nice pard, I'd say your hooked on leather, you have the FEVER, I can see why this would be one of your favorites, I love this old style too, the older it looks the better for me. I had to look twice, I thought it was one of Chuck Burrows rigs, Thanks for sharing  :D

It is one of Chucks rig. Thats why I said it was made by the MAN himself for me. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Thanks Kid Terico

Sorry Kid I guess I didn't catch that, Chuck does beautiful work, and you can just about pick out his work anywhere, he did you well with this rig, and sheath, you're lucky to have some of his pieces.

Howdy Kid

That's a real fancy rig there, I know that took you some time to make, you  have a very nice collection of rigs, the conchos on the bullet loops are different, is it hard to get the bullets in and out, did you use a rivet back and sink the rivet? I like all the conchos, I like using them too when I can, this rig has a real Hollywood look to it, Roy and Gene would have loved to have one like it. ::) 8)

Hi tEN wOLVES, The belt and holster are lined on this rig as I do on all Hollywood rigs so setting the rivets is no problem since they are  hidden. The loops on this rig are sewen rather than woven like I do on older style rigs.  Once I have them sewn I take a pice of ss rod the size of the bullet the loop is ment for and next I wet the loops good and put the rod in each loop . Now I set my spots into the leather with ths rod still in place. It will crimp the spot at the same time recessing it into the wet leather to stop bulllet from catching. I let dry over nite with rod in each loop to keep the shape needed and then oil to get life back to the leather. Hope this helps. Kid Terico Thanks for lookings. I will post more of my collection as I go  along. As I said before I do this as a hobbie for my self and family. I retired 11 years ago After 9 years of getting bored I thougt I would like to be a old cowboy. I started collecting from others but its not the same doing it your self. Started doing for kids, grandkids, wife ect. I recently sent a nice old rig to my granddaughter in the Marines in Japan. Driving her buddies nuts. Wish I would have started earlier in life 64 is a little late to start . So all u pards keep doing what makes u happy. What got me started was my { HERO} Chuck Burrows. He is a TRUE ARTIST. THANK U Chuck for all the rigs u have made for me. I have spent many a great hour looking at the items u were nice enough to make for me.

Thanks for the info. Kid, you did a nice job on the holster and belt as a whole, but that is the first time I've ever seen the use of spots right on the bullet loop itself, pretty nifty. ::) :o :D 8)

Another beutiful rig there Kid T. You have quick a bit of dust invested in this rigs, what with the abundance of Conchos, not to metnion the labor. I'm sure whoever is on the receiving end of one of your rigs, gifting wise, feels truly blessed. Thanks for sharing the pictures, they are inspiring. JD

Thanks for the kind words J D. Its all family. I have previously said I have about 50 to 60 rigs hanging around the house. I have sold about 22 rigs over ebay in the last year  but they wernt very good. They were from when I first started learning. BAD News ;D
