Ya'll have been doin' some real nice work.  I ain't had the time recently to git anything done, but your work is sure inspiring ;D

Doc Neeley

OK, that does it!!! I'm gonna have to order some leather when I get my Friday special from Siegels. That's a great holster.
All America lies at the end of the wilderness road, and our past is not a dead past, but still lives in us. Our forefathers had civilization inside themselves, the wild outside. We live in the civilization they created, but within us the wilderness still lingers. What they dreamed, we live, and what they lived, we dream. -- T.K. Whipple

I have always liked that style of basketweave that Triggersmith used.  I bought that stamp not to long ago and just need to try it.  The holsters look great Major.  Did Triggersmith put a welt in them on the seam?  The edge looks nice and thick.

Yes, the pattern is his , the welt idea was mine, to allow for more scroug for the side ejector of the Richard & Mason and still be his Slim Jim shape. It is also lined.

He also came up with a idea (not used in my holster) for a welt that allows for the scroug, but does not make the visible side of the main seam that much thicker....My holster is just as I asked for to match the first crossdraw.
It's his trick and looks real good too.

Ray also has a real nice Floral .

I finally found a napkin  ring (at the suggestion of Major 231)  I thought would look nice on my Walker flapped holster.  I found it a yard sale.  It is engraved silver.  You find the best things when you aren't really looking.

Forty Rod

What did you do to secure it to the holster?
People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

Triggersmith

I slid the ring on the tube.  I used a strip of 4 oz loop leather, used Barge cement on both sides, rolled it into a tight unit, the outer diameter was 1/4 inch larger the the diameter of the ring.  It was about one inch thick.  1/2 inch was groung down to fit into the tube.  This was glued into the tube.  The remaining 1/2 inch was ground to match the silver ring rounded off a bit and dyed black.  The area where I had slid the ring back was coated with Barge cement, before it dried. I slid the ring back snug up against the plug, rotated it a big to coat the inside of the ring, and let it dry.  The ring is silver and I used a rubber hammer to peen in the area around the seam in the back.  It came out pretty good.
Thanks for asking.

Huh!  So you're a master of understatement, too.  It came out great.

Much obliged Forty Rod but you can thank Major 231.  It was his idea to hunt for a napkin
ring.  I just found one I liked.

Outstanding. The napkin ring really is a good addition. Thanks for posting the pics. It really gives it the look of the pommel holsters.

Those are great rigs, Bob. I particularly like your color choices. What did you use on the double rig, a heavy dose of light brown?

Mosquito Whitey asked me to post the photos of his new knife sheath I made for him.  He has a beautiful knife and needed a nice sheath to go with it.  It turned out quite nice and he is happy.
