Howdy the Camp,

Well, the fellow who ordered the belt was very pleased with the color....so I guess my question is moot at this point. ::)  I appreciate the input from you guys...means alot ;D

This was my first use of Skidmore's for the final finish. I like the result and it is easy to work with. Many thanks to Ten Wolves for his advice on this product.

Johnny, very nice! I like that type of holster for that type of gun.....did you use black dye or did you vigaroon it??
Also, where can I learn more about Skidmores...I keep seeing it pop up in more posts lately...

Howdy Rayban,

I used Feibing's Black Professional Oil Dye for the color. I could not find Skidmore's locally so I ordered it online. Their website is http://www.skidmores.com/. I just started using Skidmore's so I'm not an authority on it but I'm sure some of the other Pard's will be more than happy to give you more information about using it.

Very nice work, Don. The attention to detail is impressive. Can I ask what tool you used to make the outline, besides the flower stamp? The stitching is really exceptional, as is the finish.
