Nice quiver, Mo. I like the decorations on it. They really add to it.

Here's a pair I just finished. Wanted to try a pair un-lined. Sprayed leather sheen on them, wish I hadn't . Maybe someone can tell me how to cut the shine! I figure maybe rub with alcahol ? I won't touch them till I know how.

Beautiful holsters, pard. I like the color with the full tooling.

I've never used leather sheen. Does the can say what the solvent is for the stuff? Worse case, you can put some on a scrap and try removing it with alcohol to see how it works.

Very attractive carving.

A little degazer on a wool pad should cut the shine for you.  But like Marshal Will said, try it on a scrap first.

That's a nice double row belt. You won't be running out of shells anytime soon!

Silver_Rings

I've been playing with a normal sewing machine and upholster weight leather.  I made this shotgun shell belt like a money belt.  I need to dye the edges so they aren't purple.

The buckle adjusts by sliding the belt through a slot in the belt.  All the parts are made from a double thickness of leather.  This makes for a light weight very flexible belt, hopefully not too flexible.

Let us know how that belt works after you can try it out, SR. It looks like a good design.

Nice, Rev. I like the wide border on that rig.

Rev, nice looking stamping on that belt and holsters.

B-Western "Here I Come" I had to make a new rig for a new shooting class, so I threw this rig together. It was my first attempt at a Buscadero rig. It'll work for a brown rig but my next project is a black rig like a Western Star from the Bar 20 wore with floral carving.

Nice, even stamping on the basketweave, Guano. Looks good.

Gotta ask, Guano, are the holsters pressed flat? Laying on that floor I can't see if there's a curve where the holster folds and goes through the belt? Beutiful work! RHR.

Rocking Horse Ralph, Thanks for the complement. The holsters aren't pressed flat but the fold is. They have already been wet molded for my USFA pistols.

Ralph, to reduce the shine (sheen ?) try using some Tandy Satin Sheen. It will also help to protect it from moisture a bit more as well.

I did a sword scabbard for a gent here in Australia and used NeatLac on it at first, but there was too much of a gloss finish (I thought i looked OK ) but was talked into reducing the shine.

Regards.
