Thanks, TL and Col.P !

The light was rather poor when I took that photo.  Here is another which shows off its true beauty a bit better (although the helmet has a rather incongruous WWII or later net on it ....)    That is the original finish, by the way ...... and those are tree branches reflected in the slide!

;D

Problem is .... she still has the original early-specs "umpteen pound trigger pull" ....   :'(

I don't suppose you'd be interested in a straight across trade, would you? ;D

Some day I'd like to find a repro lanyard ring mag or 2

RSJ, It 's still a beautiful firearm. I bought a Rock Island 45. I've got a couple of Para Ordinance 45's, a P 10 and a P 12. I also have a M1991 Colt SS that is still in box, unfired.

My entry went out today by Post rider. ;D
I have not done much shooting this year for various reasons, so I am keenly looking forward to this Muster.

There's been quite a flurry of registrations coming in the last couple of days. I got 3 yesterday. There are now more registered than what attended last year. For those who haven't registered, please get them in soon. I want to make sure that I have all the medals engraved ahead of time so that I don't have to mail any like we have the last couple of years. Also having your registration early will help the prize committee with sponsors. We've had one vendor contact us who said he'd be willing to donate a firearm if we have enough registrants.

There is another thread going ab out some of the door prizes being donated.  I'll try to keep it updated.
On the wild bunch side.  we alow WB as a catagory at regular CAS matches and most any regulr stage can work for WB.  The "stiory' can be adapted acordingly.  One suggestion is that all shotugn rounds be loaded on the clock but repeaters can load more than 2 at a time.  This evens the field for anyone shooting a SXS in the WB match.
SASS has some guidlines used at the big WB matches that could be addapted.
Just some thoughts.

Wish you could too Slim. You, Guns Garrett & Penny and Major Matt will all be missed, well you Dave and Penny anyway ;) ;D Just kidding Richard we'll miss you too. I haven't heard from Shalako Al yet either. Money's tight right now for most everyone. I just really appreciate the effort of those that are able to come. Maybe next year Slim.

Dalton Masterson

Pitspitr Sir, I am going to attempt to make it for the weekend, but with our shoot the weekend before, I am not absolutely positive on this yet. A lot depends on Freeda and Pooper Troopers plans. ???

Even if I dont shoot, I still want to make it for 1 day at least.

Col Pitspitr:

We are in the same fix as Maj Masterson as far as time available.
We may only be able to make it for just one day.  And that will probably be Friday.
So I will have to hold off on sending the application (which I already have filled out).

I will send the stage sponsor gear to Maj Bow View early next week.

Well I can OFFICIALLY breath a sigh of relief now.

Last year I was told not to worry about getting the Occasional Special Use Permit application in until a few weeks ahead of the GM. This year With all the hulabaloo abouthe possible closing of Fort Hartsuff I wanted to do it early. Yesterday I got the approved permit back, so now the NGPC has to let us use the facilities and they can't change their minds.

Things are really falling into place. Registration is up,  It sounds like the door prize committee has done a great job (sounds like we're going to be giving away a fiream, some handmade holsters as well as several other very nice prizes) Delmonico has some great eats planned. Now the only thing I'm at all worried about is the weather and I can't control that. I'm looking forward to a great shoot!
