Tex, I will not lower myself to aknowledge that those hats are even down there, let alone try to sell one. ;D

Besides I ruined the guys whole day anway, told him when he gets all camoed up and in his stand to have someone take pictures in B&W and see what the deer see. ;D

I've had a few deer just stare at me from 20 yards, wearing my tan carhardt coveralls, and an orange cap. As long as you stay stll, it doesn't seen to bother them.

You should give them a sporting chance, 20 yards ain't really fair.

Once I have at least one in the freezer, then I start thinking about sporting chances.

Had a buck get his nose right down in my little bros. face one time and then blow snot all over him when he snickered. Bro was dressed all in black with full beard, long hair and enougn pine scent on to make him smell like a newly scrubbed kitchen floor and then sitting under a cedar tree. He visited me next and pulled the same stunt. I did not snicker and he did not go far. Texas heart shot with a .54 Hawken @ 25 yds. FYI, it was the only shot I had so I took it. Fair...shmair, those old ones have earned numerous PHDs in survival or they wouldn't still be out there.

I'll leave the Animal hunting to you folks. I spent almost 40 years hunting the 2 legged kind, some of which shot back.

Col. Pitspitr,
It looks like I may be able to make it for the Friday portion, as well as the saturday/sunday main match! Will probably be sans Freeda Bee Mee and Pooper Trooper, but I will be there nonetheless.

Friday is still work dependent, as we are going to be upgrading (downgrading??) our inventory program, and I believe that is the week of learning it all. If at all possible, I will get Friday off tho (boss will be on a fishing trip ;)).

Also, anyone that was planning on shooting the blackpowder state match in Grand Island the weekend before, it is hereby postponed due to lack of entries. The regular sunday monthly match will still be held, and will allow a Wild Bunch category alongside the normal SASS classes. It may be a good warmup for you folks that are coming in early for the Muster.

Col. Pitsptr,  I have a younger brother who will be coming with us to the Muster. Can you tell me what the cost will be for him for everything but the shooting. He is also an excellent photographer so may get him to take some pics while there.

I await your answer,
Your obedient servant,
Bvt LTC, Montgomery Little,  Senior Chaplain, GAF

$7.50 per meal straight accross. No charge for the barracks unless he drives his own car.

Glad to hear you're going to be able to make the whole deal Dalton. Sorry to hear about the State BP shoot though.

I haven't had any of Del's cooking since June, and that's too long. I'm ready for some of that good Ol' comfort food.

TL,
Del's food truly is comforting but I have found is so good that I am not necessarily comfrtable afterwards if you get my drift. Last year I gained a few pounds at the Muster and it wasn't from exercise building muscle.

Col. Pitsptr,  Thanks for the cost info sent. I appreciate it.

Delmonico

Thank you both, I try to provide good chuck.

Well, I haven't had any of Del's cooking yet, but from all those pictures of his dutch ovens at work, I'm loking forward to it.

Col Pitspitr: Sent in my registration, with money for 4 extra meals, my wife will be along, but maybe not for every meal, not sure how the logistics will work out for us. We got a room in Ord, so we won't need to use the laundress quarters. I registered in milspec repeater, and hoping enough parts of my uniform arrive! River Junction confirmed on the phone that the hat and shirt are on the way.

Siince ther is talk of food.  There was some mention of Mountain oysters a while back.  Did that ever work out for the muster?.  or is it a suprise?

The barracks is nearly full. If you are still planning on coming and I haven't received a check from you, you'd better get it in soon.

The 2 most recent paid registrants are Lt. Col. Shammorck and Pony Express.

Del:

I will check with Schuster's for some nuts.  The last time I checked there, they had breaded frozen beef nuts on hand.  They were 10# boxes, I recollect.
If it works out, I will $pring for some, if you wanna modify your menu & fry  some up.
