Interesting read & speaks well of your product!

Now if only you would offer them "as cast" I would be in business (one who took at turn at the casting business & didnt have very good results).

I'll vouch for his bullets, his delivery methods and his quality of service. I use his Snake Bite Grease Wagons in .38 and his Mav Dutchmans in .44. They are well made and impeccably packaged (in Styrofoam cartridge trays and vacuum packed)to protect them and the lube during shipping.

An honest, hardworking vendor and a great Cowboy. Give him your business if you want ready made.

And remember Big Lube Boolits(tm) were used to win a Winter Range Frontiersman Category one year by someone UH Hummm I cant seem to place that Pard !!!!!!!!!!!!

I also can vouch for Springfield Slim's boolits. I made the mistake of believing that I could find his place just because I'd been in that neck of the woods back in the late '60s because I had a sister that moved there and I was recuperating at the old Oak Knoll Naval Hospital. Oh well, thank Heaven for the cell phone. I got them and then the mold.
His regular bullets are as good as my very best.

That's the article written by my sidekick, Silas McFee. It's in the current edition of the SASS monthly publication called the Cowboy Chronicle starting on page 52. Silas sent it in a while back and thought it might not get published. I called him tonight and he was very surprised. I'll have to give Walt Kirst a call also.

The article is absolutely accurate and well detailed.

When I had something published in the CC, I later asked Tex (editor) about use elsewhere, and he said "You wrote it, you own it". That pretty much covers that.

While we're singing the praises of both Big Lube and Springfield Slim, I encountered a shooting emergency this past summer when my MAV mold was on back order(long since corrected, thanks Dick) and I couldn't find a suitable mold for BP .44. A phone call to Springfield Slim solved my problems, and a few short days later, a shipment of MAV boolits showed up on my doorstep. 2 days later I went on to win the frontier cartridge category at the Alberta Frontier Shootist Canadians this year. Thanks for the help, and superior product from both Dick, and SS.
