Gents,

I would like to buy a hunk of Damascus shotgun barrel to experiment with some finishing techniques.  I would prefer one without a lot of pitting, but beggars can't be choosy!  Gracias!!

Will 6" of 12 gauge do? I have a piece of old Parker shotgun barrel that blew out.

Mr. Taylor,

That will do very nicely.  I'm glad you responded; I need to come see you anyway on some other gunsmithing.

BTW, when did you move from Toledo to Puyallup?  (I am just South of you in Graham.)

Moved about 5 month ago. Now to find that chunk of barrel. Found another one but I don't think it is Damascus. Got a nice 82 Spencer with a Damascus barrel and mag tube but I'm not going to cut a piece off for you.

Dirty Brass

If you don't find something to work out for you I have a short, maybe 10" piece of 12 Ga double barrel. Mangled on both ends, but solid otherwise. No rust, but nice brown patina.
