I haven't seen him post lately, but you could try to track down Malachi Thorne.  He provided most of the USMC regs posted on the GAF website.

I don't know how to do a link, but if you go to google book search and type in USMC 1912 Uniform Regulations it should get you there.  If you know how to do the link could you do that for me?  I'm somewhat technically challenged with computers!

By the way, there is a plate showing "Officer Fully Equipped.  Summer Field Dress" that shows some deuce gear I've never seen before.  It looks like I now need to find a manual showing field equipment.  The officer's Undress Blue Uniform looks to be about identical to the one I bought in 1989.  You gotta love tradition!
