Thanks for the Coffee LIT...sure hit the spot....Wind play'd havoc in these parts yesterday, several trees were blow'd over on RT 28.  Sure push a 4600 pound truck around.  Had to throw some furring across the roofing paper yesterday before I left to work.  Going to head out now and see how it faired.

All that trash sure slows a computer down. My previous computer got slowed down considerably but until I loaded AVG, I couldn't find the stuff. Norton didn't do anything but take up memory, I guess.

Marshall Will, I'm glad that your wife is doing better. Kidney stones can be painful. Major, I hate that you got the snow this early. That's one thing I don't miss about living in the Texas Panhandle. It can snow from now until Memorial Day. It comes in inches, 6 to 8 at a time. LR, I hope the wind did not damage "The Cave". Flannel feels good this time of the year.

OT, It turned out to be a fairly nice day. High in the low 70's.  Be sure and let Clea get plenty of rest before the next Turkey Move.

Del, Be careful with the knives. I always manage to either have someone stab me or I stick myself with the knife.

no tellin how many times I've cut myself,  probably in the hundreds,  since ma grandma showed me how to sharpen a knife good and sharp, I've kept em razor sharp and they've cut just liike a razor, me or anyting else I was cutting.  ;)  skinnin squirrells, filleting fish, skinning deer you name it, if I killed it, I've skinned it and probably cut myself at one time or the other,  I heal fast  ;D so I'll keep sharpening ma knife.
got a big Case that I use on deer, it holds an edge as good as you could want. just slids, no pushing or pulling

gotta go in here and see what Jackie's cookin up, smells just like  cabbage and bacon   ;)

Ya mean ta tell me that you of all folks have a hot gun?  I never figgured ya fer the criminal element ;D   The alien's must a corrupted ya.

I got nice old style Buck pen knife fer Christmas last year.  Sharp as all heck fer as innocent as looks.  Everyone who took a look at it that day got bit.  Made me feel better ta know I wasn't the only one ::)  I use it all the time, but I'm always sure ta be careful since then.

I've got ma going to town knife, Case 3",  3 blade, got ma everyday knife, Old Timer, used to almost anything you can think of you could do with a knife, a lot of it's blade has been sharpened away, but it's still good for what I do with it.  then a Case 6" folding knife, 2 blades,  got several others around that in case I can't find one, I have another, seems like if I don't have it all the time, I'll sure need it for something.

I gought one of those lock-blade Buck knives several years ago to carry in a sheath on my police gun rig. Only thing I used for was cutting seat belts at car accident scenes. Only thing I had to worry about was not cutting myself when I folded it up.

lucklily I haven't had to cut but one seat belt,  several years back, in Oklahoma, son in law (at the time) and I were heading to Wal=Mart,  a car pulled out of the drive way and another hit it, rolled over twice and landed in the ditch across the road on it's top. we ran over there and the lady was shook up but buckled in upside down,  we talked with her a minute and she was wanting out bad, son in law climbed throuh the opposite window and got under her and supported her and I cut the belts, she crawled on out quick.  was glad to have a sharp knife that time.

I've got a real nice 4" lock blade Puma but I never did like the steel in it as good as some of the others I have, seems like it was just too hard a steel.  just wouldn't take a good edge.
