I tried 'em like OT, best thing I did was ask fer ah sample, never bought any.


Roasted an' salted in tha shell is tha way to go for me.

you've had roasted soybeans haven't ya.  I liked them alright,  I've eat sa many raw, while combining, they were a big improvement when they were roasted

now raw wheat is a different story, chew it up slow and you'll get a gum like subtance that you can chew for hours, just like gum

I guess the thing about it was, if I was combining it, I'd chew on it.

Roasted soybeans are good, in another life I was a grain buyer and promoted soybeans worldwide.

I've eaten corn, wheat, oats an' barley... all OK 'cept for tha barley, it's better cooked in soup or made into beer.

OT, that gummy stuff in the wheat is glueten, holds the starch together so you can leaven yer bread.  Have ate roasted soy beans, they're OK unless you get them hot, right out of the roaster before they go in the bin for the milk cows.

well all the turkeys got their tickets punched and ready to ride.  these 2 houses will a first pickup tonight, be proud to see em gone. 

here's a picture of one of the bigger ones, the Tom with the Blue on his face.  he's probably over 22 pounds and a heck of a lot taller than the others.

now if anybody wants to pick one out and put a name tag around his neck, speak now.

From the sound of it, I think I'll stick to roasted peanuts, too. Boiled soybeans are OK, but I have to agree that they're much better roasted so I'll apply the same logic to goobers.

Here's what a house full of 17 pound birds looks like,  around 8,000 birds in this house, this is looking at half the house.

Marshall Will, sometimes the catch crew will lose one out in the dark and he'll be on the back side of the house and they'll leave a coupe of em,  we've had several good meals off the leftovers

Jackie mixed up one of the apple cakes, I posted a couple of weeks ago,  she hit the nail on the head with this one,  sure is good and ya know it goes right along with ice cream.
