Morning, all. It was 35 and frosty this morning when we left for the garage. And , yes, windy. It's 41 and sunny now. Cleveburg was reporting snow pellets mixed with rain last night. Had Internet problems yesterday, and access problems off and on ( only one working 'puter here at the moment, and I'm kinda down on the use list)....................Buck 8) ::) :-\

Hey All.

Thanks fer the coffee.  I like Arcey's time zone.  I stay up perty late, so risin at the crack a dawn aint my thing.  I usualy don't get any calls afore 8, and so long as none of the kids come pesterin, we like ta wake up nice an easy.
Got woke up this mornin by a chain saw, curtesy of the tree compay the landlord hired.  Them things make fer a good alarm clock >:(

We're in that mellow autum weather these days.  70 sumpthin perdicted with clear skies.  Sure is nice.

well it's made it up to 65 today, hasn't bothered to rain yet, still a chance later, then a few days of cooler weather.  been doing a little weatherizing on the baby houses today,  tightening up some of the air openings.

We've had 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches of rain in the area.  Glad the GAF muster wasn't this weekend, could have 5-7 of snow up that way, radar looks like it's snowing on Ft. Hartsuff right now. :o

we've been outside all day long,  Clea has really enjoyed the day out,  she's run back and forth to the barns enough that now we're in the house, you'd think she's been working hard all day.

looks like we're about to get a little rain here, lines moved through Ft. Smith and about half way here, doesn't look it should be too much rain but a wind shift and some cooler air.  supposed to be down to 41 tonight.

I bet it drags on through by then, looks like what we got coming streaches for about 30 miles, here to Ft. Smith, they are callin for less than a half inch of rain now.
are they calling for any rain tomorrow there?

I hadn't heard anything about tomorrow. The weather people around here are actin' like we're in for major cold weather. I'll believe that when I see it.

We had a bunch a ways of guessin the weather this time of year.
The one that always held true was ta notice when the sacadas stopped singin and figgure 6 weeks ta the first freeze.  Dang if them ole timers weren't right everytime.  Been watchin it every year fer quite some time.
Other things we were told ta watch fer was how bushy the sqirrels' tails got and up around here, they say watch the amount of pinecones droppin.  Aint paid much attention to those last two things, but the bugs seem ta have it down from my observation.

Took a nap, have no idea what's fer dinner and the baby is screamin his head off, everyone's sayin it's cause of the cerial.  The old man here took a look, and the boy just has a diaper rash.  Put some diaperene on his butt an all is well.
