Evening pards.
Got home at 5:45 pm. Stopped at the Super WalMart in Plover, WI on the way fer groceries. Got the van unloaded. Kids are in bed. Gotta go ta bed early tonight 'cuz I gotta do 10 hour days fer the rest of the week. Starting 1.5 hours earlier.

Yesterday was a real nice day. No wind which is very unusual fer SD. We got 7 birds in 2 hours of hunting. 3 of them I knocked outta the air. The other days I knocked some outta the air but I never found 'em. Lady did a good job of flushing and finding downed birds. At times she couldn't get the scent on a downed bird. We got back to Bloomington, MN about 10 PM.

    Lil is makin a pie, a whole mess of differnt berries.  Don't know if we'll get ta have it tanight, but I saw the fillin and coulda ate it with a spoon.  It's gonna be goooood.
    Have I mentioned before that I like pie?

     That's a good ways of a trip Will.  I went ta highschool in Morgan Hill an it ain't that close ta Monterey.  That is a long day.

53 here this morning, supposed to be the last warmer morning fir awhile,  showers today with a cold front, down in the low 40's in the morning and mid 30's for lows. looks like all the short legged pants is gonna havta find their way to the closet and the longlegged ones drug out. 

gotta get all the fire wood covered up today,  may need some one of these days.  or before.
