Well, in the end I ended up with a hot dawg sammich.
 
     Have ta save the fon-doo fer another day   We got a place up here where's they set a pot of boilin oil in front of ya (please waiter don't spill), a plate of raw meat chunks and some skewers with 4 differnt dipping sauces.  Ya get another pot with the cheese stuff in it an a pile of bread cubes.  To enjoy this meal, ya must take out a second mortgage and sell the children.  But dang, sometimes it's just worth it

Howdy y'all!  Just passin' thru on my way to the hayloft.  Been layin' low a bit lately; some kind'a ague eatin at me.  Got the outdoor Halloween lights/decorations out and working; then it'll be Thanksgiving, then Christmas; might even try for Valentines day, somehow.

We have had beautiful weather here, for the most part; fall has truly fell, and the days are warm and nights cool, A/C is turned off, and winders open all day.  Some wind, but it passes in a while.

Leo, I think the name of that place is called "Le Pot".  It is my 12 y/o Grandson's favorite place down in SoCal.  For me?  Well, for the price, I just ain't that fond-o fond-u.  I guess it's ok, but ........

Gonna go hit the sack, now.

It's 1 hour and 42 minutes according to the map software.  However this Sat is church work day which I'm already committed to attend.

Thanks for the coffee.  I hope today is better than yesterday.  The token ring was down then up down then up all day and it took me and several others from 530am to just after 2 pm to figure it out.

Just got back pick up my truck and then stopped picked up my door and windows for the "cave" Need to stop and pick up some sheeting, 1by's, felt paper and some caulk later this week.  I'm thinkin' I need 3 full days to get this dried in.   I'll be adding a combination of 1x4 and 1x6 trim to band the corners and the seams together much like at the top of the roof in the bottom picture.this will also secure the siding to the studs better, when the wind gets to howlin'.   
 
Tenzzzzz, Montana and I discussed doing that this morning.

We won our division on Sat by 6 seconds! I was so excited.

Hey All.

Leo....I know of the place you were talking about for the rehearsal dinner....my husband can't believe you pay that much and still have to cook it yourself. 

The name of the resturaunt is Friar Tucks.  It's up in Nevada City.  Place burned down once and took the city recorders office with it.  I was going through a divorce at the time and it really fouled things up.  It was only fitting ta have my rehearsal dinner with Lil at the new rebuilt version of the place.  They also make a mean fillet mignon and lobster tail that they cook fer ya.

     Good job Scarlet, tell Buddy we say "hi"
