Eased over to Richmond to tha gunshow...

Saw two Ruger 3 screws, 3 97s, couple o' used Vaqueros an' not much else 'cept autos an' black guns.

Lotta folks carryin' used high power rifles with "fer sale" tags on 'em.

Did see a new Stevens 411 double that kinda caught my eye. No sign of a Stoeger anywhere.

Saw primers from $25/1000 to $35/1000

no doubt about it, colder weather just hurts more than it used to. After 11 or 12 days of hand feeding ya always got a spot in yer lower back that just don't want to bend too fast.  picked up the last of the trays today, so not as much bending down now.

up to 52 here with bright sunshine.  lite wind switched around outa the south.  ought to warm up a little with that.

gotta go out and open up the shop get ready to do a little work.

about deer season,  lots of rifles show up for sale around here,  papers usually got several ads for em,  the local radio station has a "for sale" call in program,  I've noticed a lot of rifles being called in  on there to.

Mornin' pards. Thanks for the cup, Sleep.

That's a fine menu, Arcey. Makes me want to make the run over there. ;)

We had a short rain this morning. Nothing exciting, but it came down fairly steady for a while. The weather guys completely missed that one.

Afternoon, all. Was 47 when I got up, it's 51 now ,partly cloudy. We've got frost and freeze warnings up for tonight. Got the mower out and sucked up the leaves in the yard, and then changed the oil in the snowblower and loosened the hood so's I could get the plug out to check the number( Champ. RJ 19 LM). cleaned it while it was out, was kinda sooty. As usual, got too much oil in it( looked it up, finally. Takes 21 oz., shoulda done that first ::) ). While I was at it , looked up the gap for the plug too ( .030 ). Decided to try the elec. start since the last time I tried it didn't work. First try nothing, wiggled the plug at the switch, wammo! I got electric start again ;D . Coulda used that last year when we had that BIG snow, my back still remembers that shoveling when the dang thing wouldn't start with the pull cord ::) >:(
We hink we got Sandy all set for her radiation after surgery now. She'll take the VA van up on Monday mornings, stay all week at Brecksville VA, and then take the van home on Fridays. Told her to think of it as six one week vacations in a row, she'll get three squares a day while there, plus have access to medical care if she needs it during the week. Have her own room, use of her cell phone, and TV. So it shouldn't be too bad. They'll shuttle her between Brecksville and Wade Park during the week for her treatments. all we have to cover now is getting her to the pick-up point on Mondays, and picking her up on Fridays............Buck 8) :-\ ;)

Buck glad to hear you guys have things worked out to your liking,  just another thing you don't have to worry about.  I know it's gonna be tough on everybody but at least you got some of working for ya.

and haven't ya always wondered why they make something that holds odd amounts,   ??? :o  takes just a little over 2 quarts for the 4 wheelers,    mower takes just a little over a quart,   ???

up to 68 here, get out in the sunshine and it feels hot compared to what we've had the last few days.

got the neighbors truck tailgate put in and all the filler pieces cut and welded in place,  all he's got to do now is put a few bolts in his hinges and he'll be ready to haul some gravel.
