Before today is over I will have wiped 71 PC's and reloaded them with XP professional.  These are all off lease and are headed back.

In a few short weeks we'll have almost 300 new PC's that all need to be loaded.  Job security.  At least for the immediate future.

If it can't be nice, eaten, make money, create comfort or provide real pleasure.........kill it or trade it in on new one!

Had "Killer" out for her 2nd trip, Nice and cool, drinking my second cup. She jerks me half out of the chair.  Seems a Possum was behind the neighbors Propane tanks.  Killer, wanted to live up to her name.  I made her leave it.  Too close to other homes so it's Possums lucky day.  Or I'd took care of it.

Mornin' pards. Thanks for the coffee, Sleep.

It was 91 here yesterday. We're supposed to have similar temps today. It's 58 on the porch right now. That's a far cry from the upper 30's we had last week.

no big time feed line problems,  when they get this big, they eat about 2 1/2 tons of feed per house per day, the feed has a lot of fat in it and if it sticks a little everything stops, so we kinda have to watch it close the last week or so. one little bang on the tube and it's started again.
today was the last day of hand feeding the baby birds it's all ya can eat Buffett now.  sure glad to get done with that, backs pretty stiff from all that bending over the last week and half.

up to about 55 so far, plenty of sunshine, supposed to be near 70 for a high,

got BBQ on the mind this morning, may have to go down to Ozark and tie one on,  Kevin and his wife (owners of the BBQ place) have been in New York City all this last week,  the people they buy thier supplies from send them on Vacation for a week every year if they use them exclusivly, so they picked NYC this year.
tolt him I didn't know if I'd go if I had the chance.  ain't never lost nothing up there.

Don't know what's on the menu. Want the steak I got waitin' but that's for tomorrow when the fat lady is in King George. Pizza 'n garlic knots sounds good.

Hey All.

Catfish was good last night.  Cooked up some green beans in worshetere and cider vinagar with a little lemmon pepper.  Nice meal, but never got ta the rice.

Adult kids is bleedin us dry.  Run the truck outta gas this mornin, parked it an left on foot.  I had ta walk a gas can down ta the station ta get it goin again.  5 months now an they aint paid a dime ta the cause.  Think it's time fer them ta move along.  I hate bein harsh, but hate bein used even more.

Living with you cause times are hard is one thing Leo, but they got to learn to pay their way.  If it's too easy on them they got no incentive to ever leave.  i went through all that when my SIL enlisted in the Navy and my daughter was pregnant with their first child.  She stayed with us then he got out of Boot and A school and figured they would stay awhile.  The missus and I finally had to set them straight.  While they were living with us they were expected to contribute to groceries and household bills. And we finally had to give them a deadline to get set up with Navy housing.

The economy is tough but they still need to learn that there are no "free" lunches.  My SIL asked me once that if I had a chance to move in with my parents and take it easy wouldn't I do it?  I told him that my father would have kicked my but all the way to the employment office if I tried something like that.  I also to him that when I was in my late teens the goal was to find a job and get out on your own as soon as you could.  I don't understand the mentality today that some of the youth have where they seem to think it's our job to take care of them forever!

I couldn't agree more Irish.  I was outta the parents house an on my feet at 17.  When they moved away an offered fer me ta go with em I said thankya no.  Never went back other than on visits.  I'm proud of that, and a few years later my Dad told me he was proud of me fer it too.  Hearin that made all the Top Ramen nights absolutley worth it.

I stayed at home between semesters and during the summer. After college, went in the Army, then became Cop and never moved back.

Never did have the urge to go back home when I got out for just a little bit.  seems like that's what you were working at back then,  sure is a different story with the young'ens today.

well that BBQ was sure nuff good, been a coupla weeks since we'd been there ,   sat next to a fella that was telling the owner how he had been in a little fender bender up at Fort Smith yesterday and while he and the other guy was waiting on the Police, they got to talking about eatin,  the guy that had run into him told him about Rivertowne BBQ in Ozark, so he came on down this afternoon to try it out.
he was from out of town and conducting some training out at Fort Chaffee with a Navy Unit.  said he was a civilian instructor. Asked him where he was from,  said Virginia Beach Va.  had got out of the Navy and him and his wife had lived there ever since.
