Mornin' folks... 55 an' clear, goin' to 80 they say.
Good day for reloadin'  ;D

FRESH HOT CAWFEE!

I marinate my brisket in Co'cola, bourbon, Worchester sauce an' Mrs Dash fer 24-48 hours turning every 6-8 hours, then put the liquid under it while the meat rests on a rack in the big covered roaster. Cook at 400F for 1 hour then at 225F for 5-6 hours, usually overnite. Comes out tender and tasty  ;D

I've used the bourbon an' Coke in the crockpot with roast too, really good on slo cooked beef ribs.

Did ya clean the Star with those 2?
I was hoping for a star, but they didn't have one. The only stars I shot with a shotgun were in VA. 'Round here we shot 'em with pistols. I don't do as well as with a shotgun.  ::)

'Tis 35 and sunny. Got a little rain overnight. High of 63.

'Preciate it, Tex. Went better than I thought it would – except the bill.

Only thing gets ta me in 35 degree temps is the wind. That kin get me cold. The old Pungo wind would blow right thru a coat.
