I wish I had lots of money to spend, really big Parker collection went up for auction in Grand Island today, guess I'll be huntin' birds one more season at least with my damned heathen pump gun. ::)  Wanted a light weight double when I bought it 31 years ago. ;D

glad you got a chance to go anyway.

Yeah, heck. Glad ta go for the entertainment. Thanks.

All I can think of on the memorabilia are morons anxious ta be snookered or serious collectors lookin' for the one in a thousand thing he doesn't have. I really don't know. Do know the folks around the tables ain't gettin' no thinner. I totally agree it looks awful.

The moulds. Ain't interested in anything that doesn't start with 356, 358 or 365. With out of production Lymans, unless ya have a listin' with ya, ya don't know what the profile is without lookin'. Not to mention it's kindah a good idea ta see if some fool had used the things for a pair if pliers. The vendor had the blocks rubber banded together 'n I was takin' a pair of blocks apart when he chimed in. Told 'im I wanted to see what they were. He comes back with 'read the tag'. End of sales opportunity.

One other thing while I'm borin' everyone to tears. Many of them were sellin' stun guns 'n walkin' 'round settin' the things off. Sounded like ya'd walked into the Keno room in a Las Vegas casino....

Good aftermorning, y'awl!

Buck, I'll be thinkin' of ya'.  I ran that road a lot over the years, what with my folks and inlaws both being some 150 to 400 miles away, and us being the only source for help in time of need, as well as our own set to's when we lived out in the boonies.  Just take real good care of yourself and try not to get too tired.  You all are in our prayers, Pard.

Oh!!  Afore I ferget again, welcome Miz Lil.  Leo tells me we might have been neighbors, some many years ago.  Were you familiar with "Digger" O'Dell?  He built that little house down on Frontier with the cupolas on top of the three roof peaks.  That is the place we bought in November of '93.  You might have moved away by that time, though, and we didn't get to know any of the neighbors much, until we took up permanent residence in late '95.

Lesee!  What else??  Oh!  Gun shows have gotten to be a joke(?) around here, at least in my opinion.  Most of the attendees are the local "Vato's" or "bangers" and wannabees, and the whole thing makes me think of a flea market for paramilitaria.  There is an occasional seller with some items of interest to me, but for the most part, they're not all that interesting, anymore.

Weather:  RussT, I sure do wish you all up in the great white north would shut the south door; we're freezin' down here.  Three in the afternoon, and it's only 59.  Two days ago at this time, it was near 90.  No precip, yet, just wind, and this absolutely unusual cold air.  It's supposed to be Fall; warm days, cool nights.   ??? ??? 8)

Think I'll go get myself cleaned up; put on a clean shirt and comb my hairs.  My Bride is frontin' me to dinner tonight - 44 years ago, I was taking her to our first "US" dinner.

Later.

Don't wanna jump the gun but 44 years is somethin ta crow about if that be the case.
I'll ask Lil about the house, but let her type it herself now that she's on the board.  Don't wanna be overbearing er nothin ::)

Mornin' pards. Thanks for the cup. It goes good on a cold morning. It was 38° when I looked out at 7:30. No, I didn't go riding. Too many things to catch up on to spend the whole day on a ride. We'll take our bikes out somewhere for lunch.

Sounds like ya did dern fine there Mr. Sleep :)
I gets ta plink taday at the outdoor.  30-30's gonna have ta stay home this trip due ta ammo costs, but we'll have plenny of fun with the .357s.  Boy will have his .22 rifles, so we can snag one of those when we run out ;D

It's gettin ta be oatmeal weather 'round here.  Tolt the kids I wouldn't light the pilot fer the heater till they started closen' the door behind 'em when they go in and out.  They don't seem ta think I'm serious.  Guess thier toes er gonna turn blue if they cant figgur it out ::)  Such are the lessons of life.

Anyhow, hope all have a good day.
