One of the managers went up to Gavin's point by Yankton for paddlefish, he said if he has luck he'll give me a few steaks, never had paddlefish, hear it's durn good.

they snag those over in Oklahoma, below the Ft. Gibson Lake Dam, I've had them quite a few times, they were pretty good but a few of them 2 or 3 pound channel cats is hard to beat.

Well we got up to Wade Park yesterday, they did another ultra sound and the biopsy. Got enough of it to suit them this time. Surgeries set up for Oct. 29, she's got to report on the 28th. She'll be there for a couple days and then home for about six weeks to heal up. Then she starts radiation therapy for six weeks, five days a week for a half hour a day. that's a 150 mile round trip, folks.

We're hoping that they'll work something out so she can get it down here. Other wise it's gonna create a real hardship here. I'm starting to get not so popular behind the big desk at work. I've got to run her up there again on Wednesday for a visit/consultation with the staff Oncologist

Started out at 45 here today, but it got to near 70 by tonight. Calling for mid 70's over the weekend, the "Honey-Do" list is getting long again, so it looks like I'm going to be right busy.

Buck, I can identify with that driving. I drove to Houston everyweek when my Dad was in MD Anderson for about 6 months before he passed away. I wore out a car but it was worth every mile I drove. I wanted to spend as much time as I could. I know everything will be okay, don't lose faith.

Speakin' of ladies, I almost forgot with being busy this week, but just so everyone knows, the last of Annie Lee's strwberry preserves was served to many who knew her from Cas-City in the dining hall last Saturday night on some of my fresh homemade bread, after I explained what it was and where it came from.
